Pranav Heryani is a Climate Change Consultant with experience spanning the United States and the UAE, working across rail, infrastructure, agriculture, and real estate sectors.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he began his career in renewable energy policy research with the State of Massachusetts — analysing the equity impacts of solar energy programmes across 90,000 installations.
In the UAE, Pranav has supported GHG inventories, decarbonisation strategies, and climate risk assessments for some of the region's largest organisations — including a national rail operator, a publicly listed real estate holding company, a sovereign agricultural investment entity, and several government bodies.
At a national rail operator, he supported the development of a full net-zero pathway: conducting baseline emissions calculations across Scope 1, 2 and 3, modelling a BAU trajectory to 2050, identifying and prioritising decarbonisation initiatives, and developing a phased implementation roadmap presented to senior management.
